Shipping policy

Roast-to-Order & Processing Time

All of our coffee is roasted fresh to order. This means your beans are never sitting stale on a shelf. Because of this process, please allow 3–5 business days for roasting and packaging before your order ships. During holidays, processing times may be slightly longer.

Delivery Times

Once roasted and packaged, orders typically arrive within 2–5 business days depending on your location:

  • Southern California: ~2 business days
  • Larger U.S. cities: ~3 business days
  • Small East Coast cities: 5+ business days

Please note that delivery time = processing time (3–5 business days) + shipping transit time (2–5 business days).

Shipping Methods

Orders are shipped using the method best suited for your package size:

  • 1 bag: USPS First Class
  • 2–8 bags: USPS Priority Mail
  • 9+ bags: UPS Ground

All orders include a tracking number once shipped.

Expedited Shipping

Expedited shipping is not available. Since all of our coffee is roasted to order, rushing shipping would only create false expectations. Fresh coffee takes a little extra time, but it’s worth the wait.

Shipping Address Policy

40 Thieves Coffee Company is not responsible for items that could not be shipped due to an incorrect or undeliverable address.

  • Customers are responsible for reviewing their shipping address before completing checkout.
  • Refunds or exchanges will not be issued due to an incorrect address.
  • If a package is returned to us, shipping charges will not be refunded.
  • If we are unable to create a shipping label with the address provided, we will attempt to contact you by email.

Stolen / Missing Packages

We promise to ship your order and provide tracking information in a timely manner. However, once a carrier marks your package as delivered, 40 Thieves Coffee Company is not responsible for theft or misplacement. If you believe your package has been stolen or lost, it is the customer’s responsibility to file a claim with the carrier (USPS/UPS/FedEx/DHL) and, if necessary, a police report. Refunds or replacements will not be issued once a package is marked delivered.

We currently ship only within the United States.
